I remember reading about historical times where they talked about 100-year wars... and I thought how could it last so long.

Guess what...?

People's of today around the world have been living it... and it's more about "when have they not".

I felt some relief when the Berlin Wall came down and we had a brief reconciliation with Russia for a decade or so. But there were certainly wars going on elsewhere.

Agree.

I feel like we have returned to the "Cold War" days...

And the pockets of regional wars/disputes - could blossom at any time.
