Watching some of the after-tornado news videos...

Reporter standing in front of a business sign (that is out of view and above her head) - notes that she is near the "Su NOC o" station.

You might know it as the gas station known back in the day for selling 100 octane racing gas... normally pronounced as: Sun O co

As someone that learned by "sounding it out"... I get it... but this one, had me wondering until the camera panned up.

People don't know things... until they know things.

I was thinking the sign was damaged which is why she mispronounced the name. 😉

Oh, and to those of you who have been kind enough to ask, I just got word that the house showing today was 👎🏻. This day can’t end soon enough.

thezenlady,

@GottaLaff

Here in Oklahoma, houses sell better in summer when people are more willing to move when kids are out of school rather than move kids in middle of school year. Hope you don't have to wait that long!

I now understand why Dominion Voting Systems & others have taken settlements instead of going to trial.

@GottaLaff Were you aware of this?

"The rules around civil litigation mean that if I proceed to trial and the court awards me damages that are even a penny less than the settlement offer I would have to pay the legal costs of both sides. So even if every allegation is proven in court, I would still be liable for something approaching £10 million in costs."

Just took this picture yesterday, and seeing it, it dawned on me that they're getting really old. We jokingly refer to them as Grandma and Grandpa.

They've been with me for the past decade, and lived with me through my worst periods. I hope I can still get a couple of good years from them, because they're the best. 🥰🐱

Hi all. I've got an older running , and I'm thinking about putting on it since I've always wanted to try it out and think this computer might run better with Linux. I read a topic on audiogames.net about Linux , and I saw a few recommendations for to try out. To any Linux users, is a good one for a beginner, or should I try or ? Also, what's the best way to install Linux and replace ? Thanks.

Me: If the supremes decide in favor of banning homeless from camping on public space, then don't be surprised if the next step is concentration camps for the homeless since homeless are already being jailed

Might be worth having your thyroid checked out. I didn't realize until I had to go on levothyroxine that my thyroid was the cause of my mood swings/panic attacks. Talked with others who told me they had the same issue.

My primary care doc noticed that my thyroid was slightly enlarged because she has amazing sense of touch and ordered thyroid blood tests run and a thyroid ultrasound. Not sure another doc would have found it during a normal exam.

At 2:35 p.m. we have audio again, but still no video, and we hear Merchan say "Thank you, please be seated."

Merchan welcomes the jurors and starts by apologizing for how chilly it is in the courtroom.

Video is back on, and both sides are seated in the same seats as this morning

Merchan proceeds to read the boilerplate instructions for voir dire. Reminder: 30 mins per side
