Ah the challenge of trying to identify an actor who never really did leading roles, and you can't remember specific things that they were in. "That guy, that was in a bunch of stuff." Ugh

@OhOkKay@ottaross Wow good job IDing him. I guess he was on red green, but I didn't watch it much. He really was in like one episode of every Canadian show in the 80s Seeing Things, Littlest Hobo, The Edison twins, Danger Bay, Street Legal, etc. I forgot about Adderly.
The guy I'm recalling is (was?) a Canadian actor in small bit comedy roles, usually playing a bit of a weasel, small-time crook. Probably active thru the 80s into the 90s. Maybe more recent too.
Ugh, he'll be hard to identify. Might just be someone I stumble across in months or years hence. Will post here if I find him.
@LikeItOrLumpIt Not sure that I saw him in any. Being a bit-role player, he may well have had something in one of those deals where they film in Canada and have to use a bunch of locals in small roles. I think he mostly did TV though.
After scrolling thru "Corner Gas" cast, I liked the idea that @Hicsumus proposed to check "Littlest Hobo" cast too, where all Canadian actors showed up at some point. And bingo!
He was Wayne Robson. Probably widest known appearance was in the thriller movie "Cube." 166 other appearances in many Cdn TV series too. Sadly died relatively young in 2011 at 64yrs old.
@ottaross@Hicsumus I think Robson's most notable role would've been the ex-con Mike on "The Red Green Show". It was one of the few shows on which he was a regular cast member that wasn't voice acting for animated series.
He was also the voice of Melvin on "Bob and Margaret". He seemed to land more regular gigs in voice acting vs in live action shows where he was most often in guest roles.
