Oh, one last thing I just thought of. I promise I'll shut up.
I'm listening to the article while looking over the screenshots and stuff. I'm enjoying interacting with the article this way, but I know I might be in the minority.
My only minor gripe is that if I want to stop and really read over something, I have to scroll all the way to the top of the page to pause the audio, then scroll back down to find my place, read, then scroll up again to restart it.
@BrilliantIdiot thanks for the suggestion, and i'm glad you're enjoying it! in the meantime the audio versions are also available in podcast players if it would be easier to have it open there for listening (or you could also have two tabs)
