A thing I really like about fedi culture as it exists in my little corner is that it’s possible to think out loud about things I’m really unsure about without getting immediately socially disciplined by people who read earnest blather as a tryout for Media Thinker jobs.
(The corresponding downside is that all my dumb jokes will be explained back 30 times, which brings out the absolute worst parts of my bad personality, but that’s even happening on Bluesky now so idk)
@d I shitpost very mildly and put links to essays on Bluesky and put everything else here. Oh and anything to do with clothes or hair or whatever girl shit goes there because I have less than zero patience for the puritanism that crops up here about it.
@d It mostly means I post here when I'm trying to figure something out and there when I'm not. (I mostly just go there to see what friends and writers who aren't here are up to, and I don't end up posting much except replies.)
