hey electronics heads. anyone got any tiny little project recs that use bga components? seems like a good soldering skill to pick up, but i've no head what to put together to learn!
it's sounding like "teeny tiny microcontroller dev board" might be the way to go. i wonder how hard it is to make a disguised mitm cable as a hobbyist these days.
@whitequark i am reading about it, and it's incredible the degree to which google engineers will fuck up "download and build firmware" at every opportunity
@jacqueline also the web frontend parses the human readable debug console output (where some commands just print binary blobs), ignoring any errors that do often arise, using regexps
@jaseg@whitequark@jacqueline I mean why wouldn't you use a 12 layer HDI (or whatever, I don't recall the details) board for something like this, right?
