Was listening to @blindboyboatclub's podcast recently, where he was talking about how he has a Patreon but doesn't offer anything extra. It's literally just a way for people to show appreciation for the podcast that will happen anyway.
It made me realise that I wished I had such confidence when I set up my (long-defunct) Patreon.
I felt like I had to offer more, even though I barely had the energy to put out a fortnightly podcast, which contributed to my burnout.
