@ChaosKitsune Is there a way you can make a plugin similar to the pronouns one where it can scan the users profile and pick up a key trait about them. For example "I am an artist" and it would put (Artist) in brackets next to their username.
I'm not sure how it works so this might be a tall order but I thought it would be cool :neocat_laugh_sweat:
@NumbersCanBeFun Its hard cuz the way I do pronouns is search for a field named pronouns or search for a slash split 2 words like she/her but that's doable cuz its all standard. I don't think there is a standard for this stuff so id have to manually search bios and stuff for words like "artist", etc which wont work if they use another word, spell it wrong, etc. And it would only be able to detect a few hard coded things.
@ChaosKitsune That makes a ton of sense actually. It would probably be more helpful if I knew what you were coding in so I can provide more helpful suggestions for stuff like this :neocat_laugh_sweat:
@ChaosKitsune@NumbersCanBeFun So happy to see this! I did some work with Firefish / IceShrimp plugins but as you probably know they aren’t compatible with misskey’s newer version. Would it be alright if I linked to your blog post from this repo?
@catty Im not sure this is possible. I also don't think sharkey has docs on their API endpoints so id have to figure it out myself but also I don't think I can hook into a like event sadly
