Oof I just discovered the concept of dead fedi instances' domains being taken over for nefarious purposes
I clicked on an artalley dot social link and it popped up with one of those "your device is at risk" scareware pages trying to get me to install an apk on my phone 😬
@hazelnot This is one thing I often think about when I think about letting go an old domain names with no related income. Everything that has some traffic once will be bought again for this crap :-/
