This brilliant film's just popped into my head for some reason - thought it might be something you two would be interested in?
It's brilliant. I just watched it again a couple of weeks ago.
Have you seen "El espíritu de la colmena" with the same lead actor Ana Torrent? Set in Northern Spain in 1940, shot in black and white with a brilliant cast. Bleak, haunting and memorable.

I'm trying to put a name to a film I watched a while back about the children of activists stolen by the military dictatorship in Argentina in the early 80s but the grey matter's not cooperating 😠
Whatever it's called, it's top class.

Argentina too. Watch everything you can with Ricardo Darín - particularly El Secreto de Sus Ojos, Roma (not the black and white one from a few years ago), White Elephant, Nueve Reinas and Argentina, 1985.
You mean like "going to see what that strange demonic scream in the woods was all by themselves without telling anybody" rather than "running in the general direction of away" like any normal person?
