Dear god, I feel like I need to shout this from the rooftops because every time I mention it in passing, it feels like someone's jaw drops in astonishment:

YOU CAN HAVE BOTH A PENIS AND A VAGINA! IT'S CALLED A PENIS-PRESERVING VAGINOPLASTY (if you're AMAB) OR A VAGINA-PRESERVING PHALLOPLASTY/METOIDIOPLASTY (if you're AFAB)!

YOU CAN HAVE BOTH! YOU'RE ALLOWED TO HAVE BOTH!

@Impossible_PhD Yeah, many intersex people are born this way, I see no problem reacreating it with existing gender-affirming surgery methods
I guess this is ideal for nonbinary/fluid people

@speaktrap Well, it's easy to think this way, but the bottom bits we need aren't dictated by our gender. Something like 12% of binary trans women and over 40% of binary trans men love their stock genitals, and would never trade them out for anything else. I know a number of binary women with PPVs as a result.

ray,

@Impossible_PhD And neither/none as suits you, called nullification

@ray Very much so!

@Impossible_PhD WAIT WHAT THE FUCK????????????????? What about the balls i’m not even joking (oh wait saw the follow up comments it makes total sense but also it would by fun as hell to have a full set of all)

Impossible_PhD,

@SyntheticAutumn I get it, but as I understand it it's a problem of space. You've got room for a taco or a pouch, but not both.

@Impossible_PhD you can do that? :D

Impossible_PhD,

@sleepybisexual You can indeed do that.

@Impossible_PhD would it stop t production?

And how do it,

I've had aniugh of this pos flesh puppet

Impossible_PhD,
@Impossible_PhD@hachyderm.io avatar

@sleepybisexual lol.

It works by, for an AMAB, removing the scrotum and tedticles, leaving the penis as is, then crafting a shorter vulva with or without, according to the preference of the person getting it, a standard vaginal canal where the perineum would otherwise be.

So, yes. It would remove the testes, ending major testosterone production (your adrenal gland would still make some--usually enough to meet your needs otherwise).

@Impossible_PhD How cool is that!?

I learned of this here on the fedi a few months back.

Even if you're not interested in the PPV, here's a link with some neat info that may still be relevant to you if planning for a feminizing bottom surgery.
