@davidbures get some (natural) ginger candy. Ginger helps with motion sickness and candy helps popping your ears during takeoff 😆
But if you don't get sick on a bus, you'll be fine perfectly fine on a plane 👍
@davidbures like puking in flight? I think you’ll be good. It’s pretty smooth. If you mean cold/flu I have very rarely become sick from traveling. I fly at least two times a year. Either way get a neck pillow.
@james Yeah, I meant vomiting. I have a pretty severe phobia of it, which is why I haven’t flown until now.
But I’ve never been motion sick before, and I’ve been on a ship before with no problems (which people say is worse than a plane), so perhaps it’s just an irrational fear 😅
@davidbures oh then your solid. Ship is far worse. Take off you get a bit of G force but mostly pushing you into the seat. Also bring a pack of gum. Helps with popping your ears.
@chrismarquardt@james Thank you :) I really appreciate the encouragement. I think I'll be okay as well, I've seen some people on Reddit say that those who are afraid the most end up enjoying it the most as well once the plane takes off 😄
@davidbures If you get nervous, look out the window. It helps.
Also during take off and landing expect some odd vertical movements. That's just the flaps extending and retracting which changes how much lift the plane generates. Nothing to worry about.
