@daringfireball I was setting up some proxy routes and thought that the password reset was triggered by juggling IPs. I reversed everything I spent time building just to find out it wasn’t my fault. :)
@daringfireball I can't view my familiar locations, only the last one. And I have 249! Stolen device locations should be separate from familiar locations, which are used for other things like Maps, according to the description.
@daringfireball I find it perplexing that tapping on the password in Apple Password (Settings - Passwords) will reveal the password before I can copy it. Maybe I’m too paranoid, it also means I should not copy passwords publicly.
@daringfireball I didn't get hit by this but I decided to check my significant locations. Oddly my home is not on there (of the ones I can see). But 2 pubs and a barbershop are. I haven't visited them in months but I guess I walk past them maybe every couple of weeks.
I'm a bit concern it's either picking the location of cell towers or something has gone wrong with my location tracking.
My home should be at the top of the list but my gym surely should be on the list too.
@daringfireball The stolen device protection feature really shouldn’t use significant locations. It should use specified configured locations that allow the user to also specify the allowed radius from the specified locations. Apple needs to rethink and redesign this feature!
