I seem negative on AI, but I actually want AI to help me with my music... but not the way the AI bros think...The AI bros are like, "hey music nerd, we made a thing that can actually make the music for you." NOOOOO!

The point is that I am still writing the music this way... coming up with the melodies, stating when there should be a crescendo or whatever... I'm just removing the incredibly tedious part: writing the sheet music... which is so massively slow that it takes me out of the creative space. If AI could listen to me as I say, "OK... cellos come in after a rest with this," then I hum their part... that would be liberating. I could hire someone to sit here and do this... but that would probably cost me hundreds per hour and would be way slower.
