oh idk the commercial supercomputers at work are pretty crazy, 3.5+ exaflops & 1.2 exabytes of near-singular compute performance per superpod, many superpods per building, many buildings per site, dozens of sites, and they can all be connected to form a singular supercomputer as soon as someone decides to want it badly enough. What someone could do with zettaflops worth compute power in a singular cluster with terabits of planetary interconnect power? idk play god probably

@syn I mean there are a lot of people running smaller AI workloads so these superpods are mostly running split down into smaller planes/cubes/whateverconfig (they can rearrange depending on how your calculations run best), it's a contested resource at the moment, but it does make me wonder, what if you'd just combine all of it and run a single thing, because the hardware and infra is entirely capable of making it happen
