To my fellow tooters who are also #LivingAlone, did you ever stop fearing ghosts? 🤣 I'm one month in and I still can't sleep properly unless music is playing to fill the silence lol
@teacherbuknoy The other night I was walking up the stairs in my basement after I had turned the light off and I just felt this deeply primal urge to scurry up the stairs before something behind me could get me. I'm 45.
@teacherbuknoy We had the wake of my dead uncle in my grandma’s house. So many people and relatives came one night that all the rooms were full and I had nowhere to sleep, so I slept in my dead uncle's room, alone. I woke up the next morning without seeing his ghost. Sometimes, you just need to face your fears.
@faticake@jikodesu I say goodnight to this house lizard in my apartment whenever I remember. I named it Alex. It's very silly but my brain accepts that I do have a companion and that I'm somewhat safe from ghosts because of Alex lmaooo
