A lot of the time when someone has entitlement and privilege they can do things that are really intrusive and even aggressive - because they're stepping on you - but because they think they're entitled to do it, they do so in a pleasant and friendly way.
And so the people who set boundaries get to feel like the ones being weird and aggressive. And the original aggressors feel like victims. It's a head-fuck.
