Well you know what, I lived through the 70's and 80's and had weird aunts and neighbors who always had one or another dish with gelatin, jello or aspic and I tried them all, some I agree take getting used to but others were delicious, for realz, I even make a few things in gelatin from time to time just for nostalgia's sake.

@oscarfalcon I mostly do like aspic / gelatin foods, but I don’t think I like the stuff inside in the mid century American takes on it (as compared to Chinese or French versions of such dishes). but I don’t have the nostalgia from that era or place so there’s that

@skinnylatte Every recipe calls for either canned cream of mushroom soup or canned pineapple tidbits... and, in one case, both
