I feel like I'd go back in time happily in Malaysia / Malaya to try to eat all the foods, now lost or changed, in the 50s.

Well you know what, I lived through the 70's and 80's and had weird aunts and neighbors who always had one or another dish with gelatin, jello or aspic and I tried them all, some I agree take getting used to but others were delicious, for realz, I even make a few things in gelatin from time to time just for nostalgia's sake.

Great to have another book coming, can't wait to get mine.

On a side note, hearing the narration by Wil Wheaton I can't help but smile when he describes the "even like chiclets" teeth of a certain character in the book... looks like it's going to be a doozie of a book!
