Microsoft says April Windows updates break VPN connections. No fix is available. If you use Windows 10 or 11, and rely on VPN, you may want to consider your options.

If you don't bypass the April updates, and you need to use VPN, it probably wouldn't hurt to have a live Linux USB OS handy, esp if you VPN for privacy or security reasons, so you can quickly log into a browser and use the internet via a VPN connection
