I read one of those "kitchen gadgets no one needs" articles a few days ago. The author panned the battery-operated salt & pepper mills especially those with a LED work light. The article was pushing manual grinders.
Just used my rechargable grinders with lights. No need turn on overhead lights. Arthritic hands also appreciated the electric grinders, too. TB fair the article allowed that arthritis was a reason for using electricity.
