Falling down a rabbit hole on 1990s “annual reports.” Corporations used to produce these elaborate print materials with progressive design and typography. They evoke a really specific mood. Happily many are archived online.
I developed my sales proposal templates based these designs. The image/caption in the margin was always a fun way to add some creative playfulness to an otherwise overly serious document.
