@izzyamar If you have the means, I'd renew it. Even the smallest service/repair would likely cost around $139 if it's out of warranty.
For reference, my power cord stopped working out of nowhere and I had AppleCare so it was free to replace, but the dumb work order said it would have been around $129 had it not been covered.
Source: I worked at an Apple Store a long time ago and still buy AppleCare for all of my devices, even if only for peace of mind.
