I discovered yesterday that I borked my Immich instance by applying an update that moved the location of the database mount. So a new mount was created with no data in it and my backup script backed this up, overwriting my existing backups.
Apparently, my backup and disaster recovery wasn't thought through very well here. Luckily I still had the old mount directory before the change and was able to restore that. Phew
