It not only proves again how stupid the Reps were to adopt the 1-vote vacancy rule to begin with, but it shows that Reps need Dems to legislate. They taught MAGA to consider cooperation with Dems inherently weak and traitorous. Now they're stuck doing it.
So Reps are now vulnerable to MTG charges that they are in cahoots with the Dems, and everything's rigged. The fear is MAGA will stay home in disgust.
