Finally starting to feel calmer and less freaked out. I’m sitting on the patio with Tom and Miss Cinnamon is pottering about nearby. I didn’t achieve any of the things I wanted to do today.

IMO, starting to feel better is the best achievement of all. Don't worry about what you didn't accomplish. You can work on that in the future.
