I got told off a bit earlier for taking out of date sleepers I’m no longer prescribed but idc, I’m going to do it again tonight because it’s less risky than being awake and no one’s offered me any better suggestion.

CMHT called just to say that someone else from the CMHT will call tomorrow to arrange an appointment. So bit of a pointless phone call. I really don’t know what to do with myself, I can’t concentrate on anything, not even just listening to an audiobook. Reading and TV are impossible. I can’t take in all the detail on social media. But if I’m not distracted I’m constantly thinking about running away and harming myself.

After the big surge of energy required to make those phone calls I now feel sad and exhausted. IDK what to do with myself. I want to go back to bed or get in the bath but I can’t because the CMHT are supposed to ring. I can’t even concentrate on social media or casual games

Senior prac called very quickly and is making an immediate referral to the Community Mental Health Team (who I used to be seen by until I went into remission). She wants me to be seen today or tomorrow. Let's see what happens. If they will see me, Tom will drive me, as it’s very difficult to get to by public transport - so helpful for people who are no heavy duty psych meds that stop them from driving 🙃

Slept through the night thanks to drugs, woke up for meds and toast, went back to sleep. Can see lots of love supporting messages here but too poorly to respond individually, just know that I appreciate you all.

Gathered all my courage and rang my psychiatrist’s secretary - no answer. Rang 111, chose option 2 for MH - there was a long wait time so I asked for a callback, wasn’t expecting much but they did call and in answered a million questions.

Upshot of 45 minute call: a senior practitioner is supposed to be calling me back within 4 hours. Reminded of A&E/999 as option 🙃

On a sliding scale of the worlds onion eaters, I think I'm probably quite close to the top. Would genuinely be interested in meeting number 1 to see what's going on in their life. It might even be me. Wouldn't that be quite something.

Kitten Watch 2024 continues. Lilac is still holding out on us, but there is a lot of activity in her belly. The kittens are definitely restless. I will be surprised if we don't have little ones by the end of this coming week. In the meantime, Lilac continues to be very sweet and affectionate. She was found living outdoors, but it is obvious that she was once someone's pet.

I cooked and ate a very successful roast dinner and I’ve just taken a sleeping tablet from my dwindling supply. I think it’s just too risky to be lying awake by myself in the middle of the night when my head is like this. If I do wake and feel risky I will call NHS 111
