@Anachron I know websites where NoScript spawns a scrollbar to be able to display the whole list. It's ridiculous.

@Anachron @Natanox :D thanks... But the sad thing is that it is very hard to convince customers. It becomes harder the bigger they are.

I gave up and try to do my best. But I'm always only one part of a team and others don't care enough. It is the same with accessibility and other areas.

It makes me sad as well. But I've the feeling that most websites I've worked on are not as bad as most websites nowadays, still they aren't as good as they could be. And I always discuss with the customers.

That's probably one reason why I call myself a Backend developer. I am not responsible for the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Building, etc.

@danielsiepmann @Anachron @Natanox In our company we are all in our mid forties and when customers come around asking for all that js stuff we just say that we are to old for this… and that the user experience mostly doesn‘t gain anything from it and that the accessibilty standards are easier to meet if you stick to web standards… and working mostly in tourism and communal contexts the last thing is quite important, compared to being old.
