#ClimateDiary Dystopia is right here. I mean, the floods in Brazil are HORRIFIC but hardly anyone notices them because there is also a genocide going on but also Eurovision (which people tell me I am a “bore” for boycotting). Neom “eco-city” in the desert given green light to kill people in its way; climate scientists and UN SHOUTING that we are racing towards 2.5°C catastrophe but noone listening. All in a day (9th May 2024).
But WILL post Figueres “let’s be optimistic” piece later too.

Yesterday I met online some Alumni colleagues from Deep Adaptation course we did named “Leadership through Collapse”
As I commented after the meeting.
“ Re the Alumni meet-up I found it again a very uplifting experience but one that can only be had because of a terrible feeling of a collapsing life ahead!
We weren’t trained for this!”
