Once you know that you're the one who decides, you can say "No", and do it with a genuine smile.

And not with one of those "fuck you" smiles. It's a "genuine sorry that it's not happening, but that's not going change" smile.

(It's the getting to realize that you're the one that decides your life that can be amazingly hard. Took me decades. 🙃)
