Sorry I take this back. There’s a dramatic sequence that has an unseen rape of a peasant bride to be at the hands of a privileged upper class man. I’m missing the point of this part.

@kevbob It's part of the snapshot of life. As unpleasant as it is, leaving it out would distort our view of the past as some sort of idyll.

@Axomamma yeah, I understood once it was all over, I just didn't anticipate any actual dramatic elements in this. The other segments were more travelogue, so I got partway through fascinated with that, then they get to the "presenting the bride" to the local patron part and it all just took a very dark tragic turn that took til the end to realize the purpose.
