So many people without subways nearby! Mine was a day or less; I was on the Subte in Buenos Aires when I wrote this.

@evan IF you count either London Underground or BART through SF... over 6 years.

If you count above ground trains/trams, the story changes drastically.

@evan Weird in the sense of a lot of people likely answering "I just don't have subways where I live, so rarely/never" which seems like it's just confirming that most people don't have access to subways, rather than anything about people's inclination to ride subways.

Most people just don't have the opportunity to do so regularly.

@evan could have been today, but i took a bus instead… could have been two weeks ago, but caved in and took a uber… turns out now it's a quarter or more, most days i only bike to places, though i'll absolutely take the subway if i go in the center, which i rarely do.

@evan subway specifically? Last time I was in Montreal for Dreamhack, which I think was 2019. However, if you mean mass commute rail, then yesterday.
