Important things you need to remember about the struggle for freedom are that it will be ongoing and you can NEVER GIVE UP. People are all the same. And, no group of people has the right to abuse another group of people through violence and lies. The group abusing all groups are the wealthy.
@StillIRise1963 When I am discouraged, I remind myself that our forebears never quit. It took over100 years for women to get the vote in the US, and we are still fighting for autonomy and equal rights. The US Civil Rights movement has its roots in slave rebellions that began in the 17th century. It still has not achieved its goals. The pace of justice and the fight for freedom is much slower than many acknowledge. People suffered and died to get us where we are now. Never give up!
@Barbramon1 I feel the same way. I think about my older relatives and ancestors. They survived so that I could be here today. I try hard not to let them down in any of my behavior. I think about them when times are hard and gather strength from their fortitude. If they could do what they did, I can do what I have to do.
