How to use a higher powered radio:
- Go to the FCC website
- Figure out how to "get licensed"
- Find your way to the Universal Licensing System (ULS)
- Create a ULS account
- Figure out that you can't create a license there, but you did need a ULS account
- Find your way to the Commission Registration System (CORES)
- Create a CORES account, which links to your ULS account
- Navigate through CORES until you figure out how to create an FCC Registration Number (FRN)
- Create an FRN
