Maturing as a developer is giving yourself time and peace of mind to explore the problem space before landing on an elegant solution.

Instead of: barge in, smack keyboard on desk, type furiously, fail, type more furiously, fail more, etc.

@jraedisch For me, after 1) I rushed to fix/implement and deploy stuff only to find myself debugging and fixing in production and 2) after I rushed to fix/implement stuff only to face more “urgent” stuff that “the client really needs”. Both spiral eventually, for me, into disliking my craft.
