Made a mistake speaking out about my knowledge about GenAI at all, even if I'm known as a skeptic who doesn't use or believe in the tools, management knows me as the face of it from my org, so they expect me to proselytize shit like Codeium and Copilot.
Told my manager yesterday that i want off the bus, he says no, it'll look bad if i abandon it altogether because i "promoted it" by virtue of knowing more about it than the hype drunk ones.
