There is just too much discourse around coding style unification, in Go community.
It has taken to extreme.

I mean arguing that method chaining is hurting readability or not may be technically correct, but at this point, aren't we just splitting hairs?

@prma arguments about coding style are useless. It is often a matter of taste, and one can't argue about taste.

Thus I prefer to not take part in such conversations.

@cjk agreed. These arguments only look important when you are writing 10 lines of code for a blogpost. Working class code are just too unpolished for these stuff to ever matter.

@prma I found the advent of code formatters absolutely liberating. Just use that formatter in the default configuration, and everything else is just a matter of taste and nitpicking.

@cjk go has tons of consistent and interoperable formatters. To be honest the only thing left is nitpicking.
