@christophwarner@kjaymiller I learned from All In that it’s a way of reducing lawyer fees. They were part of the Linux Foundation so they didn’t have to do all the paperwork and accounting themselves.
@irene@kjaymiller there are many of us black engineers and lawyers who would love nothing more than to help these sorts of things along. The hierarchal structure and accounting also factor in here, BIPOC groups need funding but I don’t see how this will help this non-profit grow long term. Especially if and when things change at its parent organization.
