Any #Optometrist#Augenoptiker here? I’m trying to understand ‚ADD’ as used on prescriptions in the UK. I just got an artificial lens in my second eye and have lost the magic ability to focus very close that comes with being strongly short sighted… I did some math and worked out that 1/ADD should be the focal distance of near sight glasses? Is that correct? It doesn’t quite match with what I measure for the other eye, but it’s difficult to be exact…
