Making the curb lane of every stroad into a bus-and-turn-only lane may not sound like it would make a huge difference. But I would far prefer this vehicle be a camera-equipped public-agency-operated bus passing me and my kid than some rando in a garbage truck, hummer, etc. Half of the time, the bus driver is stopping and will wait for you to get past the stop anyway. #BarburBlvd#ODOTGTFOpdx#pdxBikes
And then of course if you have to play leapfrog because they stop in front of you, there's an ample bike-lane worth of bus lane over there, without rando-driver thru traffic coming up behind you as you move that way.
