I know this is petty, but has anyone else noticed that no one, and I mean nobody including well educated professionals, on-air personalities, even teachers appears to know how to use “I” and “me” anymore? “Me” appears to be going away for good, as everybody now substitutes “I” in instances, both written and spoken, when “me” should be used. Don’t come at me, I’m a wordsmith, a story teller, and these small details are part of my DNA.

@CharlieMcHenry

Me agree!

@CharlieMcHenry

Not petty.

It's like the use of "good" as an adverb.
"I'm good," is so ubiquitous, many people don't know it's slang.

luvcraft,

@CharlieMcHenry yeah, this drives me insane. Especially when "super erudite" characters in movies do it. ☹️
