Plenty of games have been tried on VR. Lots of major studies have attempted to make something entertaining with VR. Realistically VR is too encumbering of a technology. More people do not want to lose touch of all their senses to experience a game or movie. This is exactly why phones are so prevalent. People also aren’t going to dedicate 100 sqft to a game room.
