I'd like to move to Nextcloud Hub, but there seems that there is not a migration tool from NextCloud to NextCloud Hub! It seems impossible to me since there is a migration tool from Google, but not from NextCloud itself, absurd!!!

I've been wondering lately what the difference is and finally looked it up.

It turns out: There isn't one! Hub is just a marketing name they're using with newer versions, and Hub 5 = Nextcloud 27

They could certainly do a much better job of clarifying that, though!

Tbh not sure how I feel about them embracing AI the way they are. I don’t mind the dictation or photo recognition, but for chatgpt and image generation you need api keys anyways.

I agree, I am very sad to se them joining that stupid hype train. If they only use local computer aid and that is open source and does not depend on some closed and/or remote service it is fine. But all else, best to stay away from that trap. As soon it will follow the enshittification route just as Twitter and Reddit did and I suspect in a much worse way.
