Insane inflation caused mostly by the profiteering of companies like Walmart causing people to starve and Walmart to profit like never before and even increase their market share!
Do Walmart do the only humane and honorable thing and share their windfall with the people who made it possible and who need it more than ever? FUCK NO! They steal wages from the already desperately poor and add them to their fucking useless treasure hoard! 🤬
You know what, I was going to write a real time consuming response but I am glad I thought to skim your profile first. You seem okay and all but you pretty clearly have a very strong disagreement with everything covid related, by that I mean the only time you seem to get at all heated, stubborn, outspoken etc is when the subject has to do with government handling of covid. So just, what’s the point? We are on different planets.

I don’t even build cars and I’d vote for that guy for to be president. He’s done more for more families than 95% of Congress. He’s represented more Americans, by actually looking out for their interests, than 99% of politicians in DC.
He’s called for a general strike in 28. Gonna be a good time. If that interests you, and if you get paid with a paycheck then it should, work on building up mutual aid networks between now and then.
I called for a general boycott of TJs in Portland last week. Love shopping at their stores and have been a customer for 15+ years, but no contest to give up with this shit.
Shawn Fain is a good person. He cares about his members and for all working people. I always found it strange how nearly all companies are anti worker and hope the momentum keeps growing.
The strike was "illegal" meaning that it did not have the traditional protections afforded striking workers, such as being unable to be fired, and the union was fined for each day the strike continued.
The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has ruled that even using the word “strike” constitutes “inducing, encouraging or condoning a work stoppage by public employees.” Union leaders who do so risk fines—personally and as elected leaders—and even jail time.
That's what it means that the strike was illegal. (Citation)
