Today’s visible progress. Wind kept me from putting a sheet up until late when the wind dropped. Only tacked in place. Tomorrow we test the hanging ladder.

@NunavutBirder how do you plan your insulation? Obviously it will be quite cold, so do you have a rule of thumb? Do you expect to be constantly heating it in the winter? Do you take any special steps while building that wouldn't be needed in places farther south?

@Artemis201 It’ll be Fiberglas batts for 6 inch stud, vapour barrier with acoustical sealant. It’ll only be heated as needed. Not really any different. One thing different with housing is there are no basements or pads here. Most homes are built on piles or cribbing or jacks.
