3SistersEnglishGarden, to gardening

Look what is poking through the straw. Potatoes!

We put some down on a bed of straw and covered, enclosed by a piece of fencing

When they get a little bigger, we will add another layer of straw and cover.

We will keep adding layers until we get to the top then let the vines take off over the fence.

We had a naked spot in the front yard. Thought we would give the no-dig potato planting a try

The mounds are done and the corn is planted.

We have taken the side yard and made it essentially a zone.

The clover we planted last year is full and rich and hopefully will continue to take over what is left of the "lawn". It will serve as the border to the garden. Going to over seed the clover again.

When the corn gets around 5 to 6 inches high, the beans goes in!

The rows, marked by yellow, will be raised, boxed beds for veggies.

We're using technique for the bulk of our vegetables that @penny eats but the remaining yard will be in the style, which has nothing to do with North American , as we try to reduce our lawn.
