Playing most days has helped me improve in #geography & #economics. I've gotten a rough sense of what kinds of countries have yearly exports measured in the millions, billions, or trillions of USD. And sometimes I guess quickly and feel awesome because I remember, e.g., key ag sectors in Malaysia from plot points in a @zencho novel.
Finally figured out why the color #559 (the color in my profile image) looks somewhat purple. Color spaces…RGB indicates that it should be a faded blue, but LCH (which is 39, 40, 290) clearly shows that it's ~22% of the way towards red (360) from blue (270).
Color spaces are insanely complicated for something that intuitively seems simple. It's great that CSS finally has the ability to represent colors to the capability of monitors.
