Just catching up with and I'm actually delighted that Shaun Spears has returned.

Spears was a workhorse for during the pandemic era, but was never really given anything creatively, other than stop-start angles, and quickly fell off TV when Tony started bringing in all the NJPW/Lucha guys.

Spears will be a good veteran presence and I'm interested to see how he's booked.

Notice: Some bots are spamming the community. Should you notice any weird comments, please do report them.

Noticed over the last few hours at least 4-5 new bot accounts have spammed a thread I made last week with random comments with links to purchase shite. They seem to target older threads I assume to reduce the risk of people finding and removing the comments/links but should any of you see such comments, please to report them so...

Nash speaks further on attending Sting’s last match (wrestlingnews.co)

On the latest "Kliq This" podcast, Kevin Nash said he is not on WWE payroll and cleared up what he said last week on why he won’t be at Sting’s last match. Nash previously stated that Sting invited him to be there but Nash couldn't go because of his affiliation with WWE....

Why, oh why, does anything think it is a good idea to have a talkshow segment in the middle of a #WWE #PLE?

@BeAware treats tagteam matches only as stepping-stones for one-on-one matches later.

This is why is so good, they take matches seriously.

@nafmo To be fair, there's TOO much tag team action in AEW for me sometimes. But I can see why people enjoy it. It's just for me, I prefer it sparingly.🤷‍♂️

Hard agree. I disagreed with the Tag Team Championship decision too...that makes his retirement match WAY too predictable for comfort...😬

This was the scary spot from last night's where Madison Rayne got dropped directly on her head by Deonna Purrazzo.

You hate to see stuff like this. I was really worried that Rayne may have received a significant neck injury or concussion.

Dunno if it was ring-rust or what, but the match overall was pretty sloppy.

@wrestling

Video of a pro wrestling match between Madison Rayne and Deonna Purrazzo, in which Purrazzo executes a modified flatliner on Rayne. The move is clearly botched, as Rayne lands directly on the mat head-first without any protection.

Even with Hangman pointing at a full heel turn, he's still the wrestler I was most excited to see in the trios match tonight. Swerve might be ascendant, but I'd love to see another Hangman championship reign playing with his increasing ruthlessness while Swerve gets a redemption arc after losing to him at Revolution.
