Anyone has an idea why for a few weeks, the #ComposeKey under #X11 on #Debian Unstable (set via "setxkbmap -option compose:menu -option compose:rwin -option compose:rctrl -option compose:ralt") suddenly only works if I release it before pressing the first key of the wanted key combo?
If you see e.g. a "a instead of an ä from me, it's because I was used to already press " before I released the Compose Key. Very annoying and happens far too often. 🤬
It's basically, Debian SID, but made into a complete desktop distro.
They tend to have long code names for their builds, this one is no different. "Standing on the Shoulders of Giants."
This one was named as such in honor of Debian and the development even dedicated this release to the Debain team, while wishing them a happy 30th birthday.
What causes this #text issue in #linux ? I'm using #xfce in #debiansid. I see it now and again, seems to be an issue mainly with #gtk apps from #flatpak. I also see it in #spotify. The app in the image is #joplin with the #Remoods plugin theme. Changing the used font doesn't fix it.
