You game with DualSense wireless PS5 controller on Linux?

:: The gadgets FIRMWARE UPDATER now works via Wine ::

Sony might expand their Linux enthusiasm up one notch more again (Sony does develop an OFFICIAL Linux driver for the controller itself) 👍

() on has been kinda ass lately. Previously it went through regressions which caused some game controllers to no longer work on BT such as and when they were perfectly fine before. Just upgraded to 5.71 and now my Bose QC45 stopped working on BT too.

Update: Solved by forgetting and repairing the device, which still isn't ideal but glad that worked. Will need to test if the issue reoccurs upon next boot, otherwise I probably will either use Timeshift to go back, or simply downgrade all the bluez packages.

Another update: At least the update seems to actually have fixed the DualSense issue so that's nice! Haven't tested, but I expect connection issues with DS4 should be fixed too.

I did another video. This one’s a bit longer than my 7 second Space Invaders one: Atari 2600+ first look (31 seconds*).

Expecting to be the Spielberg of by this time next year.

Well, first I was not happy when I realized the 7800 PAL compatibilty is so bad (NTSC is OK).
Never wrote so many posts on before, reporting all my findings.
But after some days I made my peace, put it in my guest room and like it now some how😊
Original (cleaned!) 2600 PAL games run OK and I could play the very first time NTSC twinstick on a via 🤙
Now we wait for updates but Pitfall2 and ARM homebrews will never work.

I'm hopeful for the next week. I tested Remote Play on an iPad since that's the closest comparison.

2 advantages it has over Chiaki on is support, including haptics, gyro, and touchpad support. So many PS5 games rely on those features, and some don't work without them. The other advantage is that it works over any network, and does not need to be on the same one.

Customer demand has been strong with restocks being sold out quickly.

It's still really weird that my / controllers still don't work with (/) on . They work fine wired. My bluetooth mouse works fine with it too. Definitely isn't an issue on the controllers' side since they work fine on bluetooth on my PC out of the box, and also my . They even work on said PC when it was on before I switched to Bazzite. It's the only thing holding me back from recommending or installing Bazzite on more systems.
